Gothic Quarter

The Gothic Quarter in Barcelona was one of my favourite areas to explore.

Not just because it had the most amazing gelato (Sorry. No pictures. Camera’s go out of the window when you unexpectedly find something so good!) but because it had the most surreal feeling to it.

The Quarter is like a maze, filled with narrow walkways that swerve and curve in every direction.
Each lane is filled with the most beautifully crafted buildings and every step I took had me feeling as though I would stumble upon an editorial shoot for Vogue at any moment.

There isn’t much to do in the Gothic Quarter, rather it’s a place to be.
Eclectic restaurants, unique stores and hidden bars create an interesting atmosphere, and the thousands of people meandering through the streets bring the place to life.

A beautiful way to spend an afternoon.
