An Ode To Blogger Boyfriends

We don’t take advantage of you as much as the internet says we do but you are our handbag-holding, angle-finding photo-taking saviours. You’re more than an assistant but do way less work than a business partner.

You listen to us talk about flat lays, SEO, WordPress themes, helpful plugins and ERMAGEEEEHD SO AND SO JUST LEFT ME THE NICEST COMMENT.
Why humans so nice?

You don’t complain when we make you walk through horrendous weather up tretchorous paths so we can go to that place because we’ve wanted to take photos there forever.
And you don’t shudder when we advise we’ll probably do the walk again soon because the stupid fog ruined capturing said photos.

You’ve been with us long enough to know not to judge us on our love for Ladureé.
I don’t know why bloggers love their macaroons, but they’re a blogger staple and thou shall not judge. We may be cliche but they’re delicious.

You’ve come to understand that sharing is caring. So come christmas when our oversized shirt is no longer oversized you can betcha ass we’re going to steal one of yours. And you wont care. (or at least you wont tell us that you do).

You don’t complain when we just need oneeeee more photo taken because our eye was doing that weird squinty thing… Again.

You have come to terms with the fact that that no matter how much you want us to make cookies at 9pm it’s just not going to happen. If we’re going through the effort of creating a delicious recipe, it’s only going to happen in the hours of natural light.

We have separate hobbies and interests but you’re always up for last minute adventures, because yano we gotta get dat content! <3

And last but not least… You don’t mind that we need to photograph food before we eat it.
You’re just thankful that we’ve been doing it for so long we can capture an image before it goes cold…
