Finding new places to eat is one of my favourite things to do, so when I heard that The Burger Shop Co, the new burger shop in Arundel, had opened I knew it was time I stopped by for a visit.
The Burger Shop Co’s mission is simple:
To serve proper burgers, beers and cocktails.
The decor is laid back industrial chic with metal chairs, hanging lightbulbs and brightly coloured painted walls and the menu is split into various sections. The first section is Beef, which features your classic beef burgers, such as the ‘Classic Cheese’ made up of a beef patty, caramelised onions, melted cheddar, pickles, kick-ass ketchup & French’s mustard.
Together with more unique variations such as the ‘The Elvis’ which is made up of beef patty, smoked streaky bacon, chunky peanut butter, blueberry preserve and sat on a bed of house slaw.
Then you have your Not Beef and your Not Burgers sections, which features chicken, lamb and two vegetarian options for burgers, and if burgers aren’t your thing then they also have hotdogs.
S had the ‘Sergeant Pepper’, a beef burger with caramelised onions and watercress, topped with smoked bacon, swiss cheese and peppercorn sauce. (not pictured because he’s a hungry little thing).
Whereas I went for the Cheese & Bacon
